An Honor to PAPA FAMILY

Many sweet memories which had become history in MANIT, Bhopal always strike my mind and I could not forget the PAPA FAMILY of MANIT, Bhopal. PAPA FAMILY was the landmark of my good time and those memories will cherish forever. The best memories of my life were made with the PAPA FAMILY. I would like to introduce the members of the PAPA FAMILY and share some of the photographs which reveal the lifestyle of the PAPA FAMILY.
This is “DHUWA PA” (Konsam Bishwajit) who is the eldest member of the PAPA FAMILY. Well, the name is significant enough and you can guess that he must be a chain smoker and that’s right he is. That was a great time with him being in the family for about 1-2 months. Now he is going to London for M.Sc. and I just want to wish him “Best of Luck” on behalf of the PAPA FAMILY. He is my technical father and also the head of the PAPA FAMILY.
Oh! This is me (BADA PA or BOT). Well, I do not want to say much about myself. I always give accompany with whomever wants to have a drink in PAPA FAMILY. I always used to accept any kind of proposal and you know especially for night-out proposal and drinking party. I along with my PAPA FAMILY had a very good time in MANIT which makes me to write this blog post as a tribute to the PAPA FAMILY. Now I am really missing the PAPA FAMILY and those days when we used to share every small detail. Our family used to call me “BADA PA”.
Then, “BADA PA” (Rabison) who is the counter part of me in the hierarchy. He is really a cool chap and the coolest of all the PAPA members. I haven’t found him hesitate in any issue and also never seen him angry with anyone of the PAPA FAMILY. But he went silent after leaving the college. Also he is the king of gastritis and the one who brought Gastritis to our family. He is the poor guy who couldn’t enjoy the last few days of college because of the gastritis.
Here comes the “MURGI PA” or “MOGLI PA” (Present) who will spend the last year very frustrated. I know he must be really missing us. Pseudo MANITian but an original PAPA member. One peculiar thing about MURGI PA is his MURGI type hair which makes people call him Murgi. And also a great fan of Rajnikant and may be because of this a Kundi (south indian girl) always sticks to him. I wish Murgi to have a good time with the kundi.
“DINO PA” or recently “Thakur” (Dinesh) whose name was not be chosen properly. People could not find the exact name of DINO PA and therefore he was safe. Well, he is a fun loving guy and drinking was his hobby like mine. But sometimes he used to be in tension for some reason or the other. Recently he cleared the last test of the IBM and now he must be in ecstasy. It is the time to celebrate for him and heads off for you DINO PA.
“BIDIPA” (KANAN): Well known South Indian dancer and also a great fan of Bidi. The guy with the most beautiful name in PAPA FAMILY. People love to see him dance after completely out (wasted). PAPA member who is the only fan of BIDI and also popularly known as Bhaiya. A slow man who is very passionate over drinking. And the person who can make Chennai a dry land and the only cool guy who can give exam after taking beer. Bhaiya that is your spirit of longing for beer that makes you so hurry to take beer even before the exam. He created history in MANIT for giving exam with fully out (wasted). Bhaiya! Please do not go to office after drinking.
“JHILA PA” or “ThAKURIND” (Deka) was an important member of the PAPA FAMILy with many strange characters. I used to stay with him for a quite long time and I know him carefully. He is very friendly chap and also very dedicated to the friendship. But also a stubborn guy who always stick to his own decision no matter it is right or wrong. Or you can say the king of Beer and he is the one who introduced the tradition of beer to the family. I had a good time with him and he is the one who always ready for the beer (LOL). Now he became a part of Ambani Family but I am damn sure that he will not forget the PAPA FAMILY for the Ambani Family.
“LOTA PA” or “Bhojpuri Hero” (Fernando): A cool guy whom everyone would love to make friend and you will not get bored to be around this guy. His bhojpuri actions and hits are enough to be entertain you in your bad time. There are many hits for LOTA PA and as the name suggests most of the girls are always after this guy. Thank God! there is at least a member in PAPA FAMILY for whom most of the girls in our college longed for. But after the college he is almost silent and may be he is having a good time remembering the old days of PAPA. Sometimes I feel like he has some negative thoughts about PAPA FAMILY but he was always contributive to the PAPA FAMILY and the one who will remain with the PAPA FAMILY till the last breathe.
“SENTI PA” (Prabal) - Well, what can I say about this great man! He is a man with full of humor but I would say he is a defective bengali. His real name that the family gave him with love was “Phata PA” but now this name is no longer valid for him because he proved himself as one of the bravest man. And also he was just about to become committed with a girl in MANIT. But he didn’t get enough time to build up the relationship but I hope you can continue in Bangalore. One of the most brilliant guy in our PAPA FAMILY and the only ne with brain in our PAPA FAMILY. Indeed a good friend and neighbour since first year.
“GUNJA PA” (Lalit) from Nungapur is an interesting character in PAPA FAMILY. Sometimes he used to angry for many small things. Most of the time you will find Ronaldo like hair style in GUNJA PA and so is his name. He departed very silently from the college in his last moment and most of the people left unnoticed on the day he left Bhopal. But I know he respects the PAPA FAMILY and contributes many miracles (which we known as hits) in PAPA FAMILY. He is going to join Wipr in the coming 24th June and I wish you with best luck in your future career and still I hope you will continue your contribution of hits to the PAPA FAMILY.
“CHOTA PA” (Theja): One of the siblings of PAPA FAMILY. A sweet boy and also the son of LOTA. By blood he is also a LOTA and also he has a strong passion over drinking. Three years together with this guy was very interesting and memorable. One of the typical DARUWA and he will be the king of Beer after “THAKUR” or “JHILA PA”. I hope you guys will make PAPA FAMILY alive. And also he is a cadet and always keep saluting after drinking. “A Salut to you Theja from over the miles”.
“PSYCO PA” (Kesab): Another sibling of PAPA FAMILY. He is very silent and start talking only after drinking. A guy with psychic look but very desperate for DARU. I hope you will make a great contribution to retain PAPA FAMILY. Always do some hits (Miracles) after drinking. Now he is after someone in our college and well known for his comic proposal to the girl. A very straight man without any hidden character. He always used to speak to the points only.
These are the characters in PAPA FAMILY and there is a common interest of PAPA members and it is DARU. All the members are desperate for beer and there was a time when you would always find PAPA members in “Bittan Market Bar”, “Old Bhopal Bar”, Marine Drive of Bhopal”, ” College Campus Tanky”, “College Campus Stadium” and other DARU spots of Bhopal. I wish all the PAPA members to remain contact and always keep in touch to one another.
Completed MY B-Tech Degree in MANIT

It was a long history for four years. I had been pursuing B.Tech Degree from MANIT, Bhopal. It was the best part of my life and many exciting things happened there in Bhopal. But finally I completed my B.Tech successfully and in right time. If I start narrating the story in MANIT, then it will last forever until I meet my faith. So, I will put only few of them.
Well, in the first year, I was just a little boy with little of Hindi. I faced lots of language problems in first years but as you know I am quick in learning and therefore I have learnt Hindi in only about 2-3 months. Now I can speak Hindi like a he**. Now Hindi has become my favorite language. Then, come to the second semester when I started drinking. Well, it is my diary so I disclose everything. My grade pointer was about 8.5/10 in first semester but in the second due to the enjoyment and also as we got free from the bondage of ragging, my pointer became somewhat lower.
Then, in the second year, it was a great experience with new bike and PC. But we spent the whole second year arranging the meeting of first year and seniors. After that we arranged the Meet for our group “NE or North East Group MANIT”. It was such a memorable time and there is another incident that I couldn’t forget in my life. I lost one of my closest friends in MANIT in second year.
With the starting of third year, the life in MANIT became more colorful. There were regular attendances in Mata Mandir in Ishwaar Chai Dukan. This is just about 1 Km from our hostel. Heavy drinking and frequent visiting of Ja Hanuma. In the final year, there comes the PAPA FAMILY which is the most successful family in our college. It is a family composed of guys from different groups like there are people from Andaman, Manipur, Nepal, Sikkim, Maharastra, Tamil Nadu and many more. We are group of people with same thoughts and same habits. We do have a symbol and also made a group T-Shirts. I will share the photos of the T-Shirts and members of the PAPA Family someday.
Google’s Friend Connect Service

Google’s Friend Connect is the new service of Google and it is trying to help the site owners to make their websites more social. In some way, this may help the site owners to generate more traffic in their websites by providing the social feature in their websites. Google has released the Google Friend Connect. But you cannot directly install the code or the feature in your website. You must apply for that and the Google team will review your application and if they approve your application, then they will notify you.
It is a simple way to increase the number of visitors in your website because the visitors of your website can invite their friends in other social networks like Facebook, Google Talk, Orkut, Hi5 and some others to join the social network of your websites if they are of same interest and if they think that your website is useful for all of them. If you want to install this new feature of Google in your website, then you must apply now and you will be in the wait list of the Google.
Another possible consequence of the Google Friend Connect: Will this new feature of Google affect the popularity of the social networks like Facebook, Orkut, MySpace and others? It is just an alarm bell but in the starting this will not have that much influence in the already existed social network. But in the future Google Friend Connect can take any position, God Knows!

Higher Secondary Examination Results 2008 - Manipur

Results of Higher Secondary Examination 2008, Manipur or HSE 2008 (HSLC) can be had from the official website of the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur. I just want to give a short overview of the exam results. In the top 20 list, there are nineteen students from Herberts School, six students from Human Resource Development Academy, three students from ISWAR and other three students from two schools. Herberts School dominates the results of the 10+2 exam this year. You can get the all the marksheet and details of the marks from the internet by entering the roll number.

If the new webpage, you just enter your roll number in the space specified and you will get your marks details for all the subjects. Congratulation! To all the toppers and students who have passed the exam with full satisfaction. And also good luck for those students who unfortunately get some low marks. But comparatively, the result of HRD Academy is not good this time and I specified the HRD result because I am also a passed out student of HRD Academy and the Academy was in the peak performance when we were there. Facebook Look alike Orkut Feature

I have been using both Orkut and Facebook for years. And now I notice many changes in Orkut but all the changes are turning Orkut into an image of Facebook. In the first place, nowadays you will find many advertisements in orkut in every possible space and then you will find many games and activities for entertainments. That is exactly same as the Facebook.
If you are a desperate member of orkut, then you must know the new features of Teen Patti, iLike like feature of song and some other features of MySpace. Now you can say Orkut is a collection of features from other social networking websites like Facebook, MySpace, iLike and others.
But one of the most interesting feature which even a passionate orkut user may be missing but I really enjoy is its “Today’s Fortune”. I use to check my fortune everyday in Orkut. I know some people will say it is just the useless but I really enjoy it and most of the time the fortune is coincident with that. Fellas just try it and check whether it matches or not.
